At Moda Salon, we’re committed to getting your orders to you as quickly as possible! Here’s how our shipping currently works:

🇨🇦 Canada

• Orders over $100: FREE Standard Shipping (excluding weekends & holidays)
• Orders under $99.99: Standard Shipping - $9.99 (excluding weekends & holidays)
• All Canadian orders will be processed within 1-3 business days (we’re closed on weekends & holidays).

🇺🇸 USA

For our U.S. clients, we ship via UPS or Canada Post Expedited International for seamless deliveries:

• Orders over $100: FREE Standard Shipping (excluding weekends & holidays)
• Orders under $99.99: Standard Shipping - $9.99 (excluding weekends & holidays)
• Your orders will ship within 3-5 business days.

Customs, Duties & Taxes (March 2025)

For our U.S. customers, orders under $800 USD qualify for duty-free import under Section 321 of the North American Trade Agreement, as designated by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). This means you can shop with confidence, knowing your order will arrive without additional duties.

Please note that orders exceeding this threshold may be subject to duties and taxes as determined by U.S. CBP regulations. We recommend checking with your local customs office for any applicable fees.

Refused Deliveries & Restocking Fees

If a customer refuses delivery of their package, a 15% restocking/reship fee will be deducted from the eligible refund amount. This covers return shipping costs and handling fees.

Every order includes a tracking number. Once your package leaves Moda Salon, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a tracking link. To monitor your package in real time:

📦 Damaged Parcels

We take great care in packaging, but if your order arrives damaged, please reach out within 7 days of delivery. Email us at support@modasalon.ca with:

• Your order number
• Photos of the damaged items and box

📌 Note: We are not responsible for damage to packages sent to P.O. Boxes.

🚛 Unclaimed Deliveries

If you miss a delivery, follow the instructions on the carrier’s notice to collect your package. Please note you have 10 business days to retrieve your package before it’s returned to us. If an order is returned, a refund will be issued minus shipping costs.

Return Policy

Thank you for shopping at Moda Salon! We want to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Please review our return policy below:

30-Day Return Period:
You have 30 days from the date of purchase to initiate a return for a refund or exchange. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in its original condition, including the original packaging. Gift cards are non-refundable and hold no cash value.

Proof of Purchase:
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not return your purchase to the manufacturer.

Refunds:
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund via email. If approved, your refund will be processed and credited to your original method of payment within 5 business days.

Electrical Items:
All purchases of electrical items are final. However, Moda Salon will honor the manufacturer’s warranty for one year from the date of purchase. Subsequent warranty claims must be directed to the manufacturer.

Warranty Information:
Refer to the back of your product, warranty pamphlet, original packaging, or the manufacturer's website for details on applicable warranties. Please note that warranties apply only to refund requests for the same item, not exchanges for different items.

Exchanges for Defective Items:
If you experience issues with an electrical item within its warranty period, please follow these steps:

1. Replacement Request: Contact us at support@modasalon.ca with your full name, purchase date, order number, item name, and defect information.
2. Replacement Authorization: We will contact you within 5 business days to authorize your replacement. Once authorized, return the item to Moda Salon at the address provided below.

Shipping Costs:
You are responsible for shipping costs when returning items. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you are shipping an item over $100, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

Late or Missing Refunds:
If you haven’t received a refund after the specified time frame, please contact your credit card company and bank before reaching out to us at support@modasalon.ca.

Final Sale Items:
Sale items on clearance are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Exchanges:
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. To exchange an item, email us at support@modasalon.ca and return the item to the address provided above.
