Ask ModaI just had my balayage done. Will NOUNOU Conditioner interfere with the bond builder my stylist used?
No. NOUNOU Conditioner supports in-salon bond-building work rather than disrupting it. Its wheat proteins reinforce the same internal bonds your stylist strengthened in the chair. Using NOUNOU at home is the correct maintenance step after a bond-building lightening service.
Should I use NOUNOU Conditioner every wash, or is the Hair Mask meant to replace it?
No, they serve different roles. NOUNOU Conditioner is your daily rinse-out step — fast, lightweight, enough for routine maintenance. The Hair Mask is a deeper weekly treatment. Most clients with heavily processed hair rotate both: conditioner daily, mask once or twice a week.
My fine highlighted hair goes flat easily. Will NOUNOU Conditioner weigh it down?
No. NOUNOU Conditioner is protein-led rather than emollient-heavy, so it doesn't deposit the coating that flattens fine hair. Apply from mid-lengths to ends only, rinse well, and fine hair retains its movement. Applying to soaking-wet hair also helps distribute it without over-concentrating.
Does leaving NOUNOU Conditioner on longer than two minutes improve the result?
Yes, leaving it on longer does help for very damaged hair. Proteins continue to penetrate up to about five minutes — beyond that the benefit plateaus. We recommend 1–2 minutes for daily use and up to 5 minutes when hair feels particularly rough or brittle.
The 1000ml NOUNOU Conditioner is $145 CAD. How many washes does that realistically last?
Yes, it's genuinely good value. For shoulder-length hair using a 20–25ml application per wash, 1000ml provides roughly 40–50 washes. For clients washing every other day, that's four to five months per bottle.
