How to use

Ask ModaMy hair is heavily bleached and feels gummy when wet. Will NOUNOU Mask fix that, or is the damage too far gone?
Yes, NOUNOU Mask directly addresses gummy texture. That stretchiness is caused by cortical bond breakdown — the wheat proteins in the mask fill those gaps and restore elasticity. Most clients notice a reduction in gumminess within two or three weekly treatments.
I already use NOUNOU Conditioner daily. Do I actually need the mask as well, or is it redundant?
No, it's not redundant. The mask has a higher protein concentration than the conditioner and is designed to penetrate more deeply. Think of the conditioner as daily maintenance and the mask as the weekly reset that goes further than daily conditioning can reach. They work on different timescales.
The 250ml NOUNOU Mask is $55 CAD and the 1000ml is $148. Which size makes more sense for weekly use?
Yes, the 1000ml is better value for weekly users. At roughly 30–40ml per application for shoulder-length hair, the litre gives you 25–33 treatments — six to eight months of weekly masking. The 250ml is better if you're trying NOUNOU Mask for the first time.
Can I use NOUNOU Mask as a leave-in on very damaged ends, or does it have to be rinsed out?
No, NOUNOU Mask is formulated as a rinse-out treatment. Using it as a leave-in will cause buildup and weigh hair down. If you need a leave-in treatment for very damaged ends, NOUNOU Oil is the correct finishing product for that purpose.
Does NOUNOU Mask work on thick hair? I have coarse, chemically relaxed hair and most masks feel too light.
Yes. NOUNOU Mask works on thick and coarse hair textures. For coarse or resistant hair, apply to damp (not soaking) hair and extend the processing time to 10–15 minutes. Applying heat from a shower cap or hooded dryer for five minutes also significantly improves penetration on thick, resistant strands.
